CLASSIC VINTAGE AUSTIN 7 1933 RP BOX SALOON DE LUXE 747 cc 4 SPEED, STUNNING CAR in Cullompton, Devon for sale

A very smart Austin 7, history known since 1960’s. Photo record of full body and mechanical restoration early 2000’s. Very little use since but updating with flashing indicators (semaphores work but no one knows what they are!), replacement correct fuel tank with inline filters, overhaul ignition, distributor replaced with better Ruby edition, cooling system laboriously flushed and correct antifreeze now in. Carb stripped and tuned, plugs etc. New 6v battery. There are three large boxes of useful,and valuable, spares included plus a drive shaft and 6v charger (the replacement car is a 1930 12v Austin 12/4 Clifton Tourer, already installed) Towie won the “Chairmans Choice” at last Sidmouth Classic Car Show, 320 quality entrants, and is much admired. No way a Concours Winner, but very correct, body and underbody solid and square, and just about everything works as it should. New chrome door handles with locks have been sympathetically fitted . The blue/grey whole leather interior is excellent, the headlining and sliding roof are as new, well nearly. Good tyres, good chrome, original klaxton, all in all a very attractive package at a very realistic price Because it is is a Classic car 84 years old it needs no MOT or ROAD TAX.
